Curriculum Overview

Creativity: symbolised by how a hawk uses its natural surroundings, ingenuity and resourcefulness to construct its home.

Care: symbolised by the safe and nurturing environment of a hawk’s nest: a calm space in which to feel reassured and respected.

Community: symbolised by the group of unhatched hawk’s eggs: each member of the community has the potential to contribute to the success of the group

 New Growth: Just as we enter a new phase in our journey at Hawkes Farm, the tree leaves surrounding the hawk’s nest also experience new growth.

We currently teach our foundation curriculum through a blocked approach so that children can be fully immersed in the content, knowledge and skills of the the subject and reduce their cognitive load.
