Our approach to geography is to expose children to different parts of the world starting with places familiar and close to them before widening the scope.
In addition to studying the physical geography of a certain place, the children will also develop their understanding of the people that live in that area through the study of human geography.
As their knowledge increases, they will also explore the environmental geography, looking at the effects people have on their surroundings.
Children will also learn key skills in spatial sense, direction and mapping and have opportunities to practically apply these skills.
